(SATH)(SEEK) Shop At Home, Inc. Enters Into Relationship With Infoseek to be Preferred Merchant On Go Network

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 1999--Shop At Home, Inc. (NASDAQ: SATH), which sells specialty consumer products through interactive electronic media, today announced that it has entered into a relationship with Infoseek Corporation (NASDAQ: SEEK) for its new Internet site collectibles.com to be a preferred merchant on Go Network(TM). Shop At Home intends to launch collectibles.com this fall.
Under the terms of the agreement, collectibles.com will receive Premier Merchant status under the Go Shop Collectibles and Jewelry departments. collectibles.com will be one of only three Premier Merchants within each of these departments. Benefits of Premier Merchant status include preferred placement within Go Shop Collectibles and Jewelry Departments, preferred ranking in product searches, and banner placements on the Go Shop home page.
As a Go Shop Premier Merchant, collectibles.com will benefit from Go Network's expansive consumer base and marketing resources. Go Network has over 50 million page views per day and over 13 million registered users. Go Network was launched in January 1999 by Infoseek in partnership with The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS).
Shop At Home and Infoseek are continuing discussions regarding the potential positioning of collectibles.com in the planned Go Network Auction category and the potential for the barter exchange of online promotion.
Shop At Home Network sells specialty consumer products, primarily collectibles, through interactive electronic media including broadcast, cable and satellite television and, increasingly, over the Internet. The Company currently provides online shopping at www.shopathomeonline.com and later this year plans to launch www.collectibles.com, which the Company intends to be the premier website for the sale of collectible products. The Company had previously announced a cross-promotional marketing agreement with Yahoo! (Nasdaq:YHOO) to promote collectibles.com and shopathomeonline.com.
