The Inc. Magazine "Entrepreneur of the Year Award" was bunk:



When Dunavant was named CEO in November, the company identified him as former Summus Technologies Inc. president and winner of Inc. magazine's 1995 Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Inc. magazine today said it has no record of anything being written about Dunavant, though Ernst & Young LLP, which at one time issued such annual awards in conjunction with Inc., did name him a 1995 Manufacturing Entrepreneur of the Year. Summus Technologies could not be reached.
