Chuca, I poured concrete pilings for boat docks in the fjords of Norway during the summer of '91 and I don't recall that the mix needed any additive. The water was cold enough, maybe 60 degrees max. [makes for a quick swim], but we never had a concern over curing. I suspect rapid curing natural or not is probably not a good way to proceed. I can wait for concrete to cure in the desert sun [maybe too fast, my call would be to slow it down]. Time to buy more, Thor
