Now that I re-read my response, I see that my first sentence was still ambiguous (i.e. give 2 for 1). I never had a problem understanding splits, but I can see how it could be confusing for some. To me, it seems that the MM's are playing it safe with a big spread and a lower Bid. You saw what they did when CVIA distributed the AHCD shares. It shouldn't have affected the price at all (except maybe up). Instead they dropped the Bid to $1.. Nasdaq here we come! Mike
