I hate dogs too. Animals belong in the wild. They are too icky to be indoors. Children are icky but they grow up and become less icky. Animals just become more icky. I know people who have incontinent animals shudder. Fish in a bowl are ok. But even bird dander bothers me. Plants are nice indoors though.
