It's so refreshing to read such an optimistic post!

PW.

P.S. We used to have wars waged by and between armies. Now we have wars waged by and between nations. Does it make any more sense to destroy the enemy's tanks than the enemy's tank factories? I'm not a military person, and I don't pretend to know much about it, but I believe there are some really bad people in our world and we must be prepared to stop (or contain) them. I support our military people: They have a tough job made even tougher by the politicians.

P.P.S. If politicians (on both sides) had to go to the front lines, we'd have peace in our time for certain.

P.P.P.S.

About the 'Pink Panther' running for office in New York...

To anyone who has even the slightest hint of an insight and two brain cells communicating, this person is the very definition of an opportunist. Putting her in charge of anything more important than fart sniffing is asking for big time trouble. She'll destroy everything and everybody she touches, and cheerfully move on to the next victim without even blinking.

But then again, one can never underestimate the public.
