Can you also show me scripture where the angels let it happen to Lot's daughters? It didn't far as I see. Did they not strike the men outside blind?(v 11)
Also about Lot's wife looking back,(v.26) when the city was destroyed.
Gen 19:17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
ALL were warned not to look back, not just the women. But what is interesting is the language.
verse 26 says: But his wife <<<looked back>>> from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.
this looked back is : nabat: which is a prime root word that means to "look intently on or regard with pleasure or favor."
Knowing that, would it not be the right conclusion to say that Lot's wife did not want to leave and had heart attachments to what God had declared a Godless city?
