Peter, re Intel PE's As it happens, I just went back to my source for PE #'s, and you are right. What they have done is calculate PE based on the entire year earnings, which is deceptive in that it is not the same as we are familiar with, that is earning calculated using the prior 4 quarters. I agree that this really understates historical PE for a company like Intel that has rapidly growing earnings. So, you are so damn smart... Could you post the REAL high/low historical PE's for the last 2-3-4 years? This is important information, I am upset that supposedly reputable research companies are publishing misleading figures, and I intend to let them know (as if it will do any good). Anyway, thank you for correcting my misleading #'s, and sorry to readers for posting information that could be misunderstood. John
