The main difference between CUBE and the others you mentioned is volume. Massive volume compared to normal. THe price is interesting because CUBE usually doesn't move this fast, but it's the volume that caught my eye. Before today, CUBE has exceeded 4 million shares only three times in the last two years.

This was a really big volume day for CUBE, and I don't think you can explain it by saying the entire market discovered CUBE on the same day. Some really big blocks traded today as well, the ten largest 10 exceeded 22,000 shares each, the 2 largest for 35,000 shares at 31 1/8 and 31 1/2. Average trade size, however, was 683 shares, so that suggests a certain level of retail trading. |
