Prof- Some years ago I too, was skeptical about ICP and ICPM used newly in mining. We had a thread at S.I. in 1996 and 1997 in which my skeptical nature and inquisitive mine helped to allay my fears. At that time I primarily wrote on the biotech S.I. Threads yet found that my 20 years of rockhounding held me here against my freewill, so to speak. I thinl at one tome I had 5 of the 10 Biotecnology HOTLINKS url sites on the TOPTEN list and I just found out two weeks ago in mining that my half dozen or so URLs are still there as I thought they changed after the Go2Net Merger with S.I. a year ago. We have a relative that was sent half way across the country to learn how to work a machine made by a divison of Chiron. It had the similar prperties, for blood anaylsis/ and thus I even referred to it then. I became a believer when I putyt my 1996 edition of Encarta and read the Induction Coupled Plasma and Induction Coupled Plasma Microscropacity is BASED on Albert Einsteins' Theory of Quantum Physics.
