Did you know you can tell a telemarketer that they cannot phone you again. If they do, you can take them to small claims court. There was an article on national news about it a number of months ago.

A lady in New York City had checks worth four or five thousand dollars.

There was a law passed in the 1920s that makes it illegal for these people to pester you.

So if you take them to Small Claims court, most likely they will settle.

I do not recall the procedures that you have to follow but if AT&T keeps bugging you, you might want to research those procedures & take AT&T to Small Claims court.

Cheers,

Mephisto
