already looking at .13 micron design features, wide-spread by 2002. A guess would be that CYMI supplies some of the lasers for the necessary equipment

I'm sorry I'm nitpicking, but some isn't the right word. CYMI may be losing a little market share (where can you go from 100% but down?), but it's at the extreme low end, their 5000 series, and is used at .25 micron. Anyone who wants state-of-the-art, deep sub-micron lasers is going to go with Cymer.
