Juries are finders of facts. The law must be applied to the facts of the case and the decision rendered. Your argument can be used to justify an OJ verdict result or racist acquittals which used to be quite common in the southern US. That jury apparently saw an injustice, right? Why do you believe the Constitution allows a jury to nullify the facts and apply the law at its whim (its version of injustice). IMO this is contrary to the Constitution and the rule of law. The system is imperfect because it is administered by humans. We don't need to exacerbate the problem by emboldening juries to ignore the facts. JLA
