to all. my take. in the past 2 years there has been no new break-thrus in the pc world. even apple has resorted to see-thru candy-apple design and marketing to sell and hype their wares.intels pIII is not noticeably faster than 233 pII's. RMBS is the best thing to happen to the pc world.(let alone other memory fields.) rmbs is the one thing that will separate the wheat from the chaff.think about it . dell,(the 2/3 news is huge) sony ,(seems to have all japan tied up with playstation II) and intels need for rmbs to sell their processors, and the whole industry needs to move on to faster memory in the future, all ensure rmbs's acceptance. we WILL see camino in sept. dell should start to advertise their new pc's soon. who else can compete with the speed? i've talked to computer programers, system designers and local computer business reps. almost without exception, they knew nothing about rmbs. we on this thread know more then 90% of the industry about rmbs. once the pr starts in the real world, there will no stopping this bus of ours. it all boils down to " you gotta believe" --- intel, dell, cpq, samsung, micron, sony etc. they all believe. rocky sis, boom, rah!!!
