To JGoren: Still curious what role TI sees for itself in CDMA. To the best of my knowledge TI's participation in CDMA is zero, nada, zilch. Do you or any of your Texan friends have a clue on what if anything TI intends to do to participate in CDMA in the near or distant future?

These glowing predictions about huge cell phone sales would seem to indicate TI intends to do more than limit itself to the TDMA and GSM markets it currently produces for.

Chaz

Note: I have raised this before here and the answers have been inconclusive even from the techology gurus. (Though perhaps they were clear but the answers were over my head - a real possibilty) The whole situation remains a mystery within an enigma. How can TI share in the explosive growth in cell phones without being involved in CDMA? Yet TI seems to be going that way. Strange, no?
