The dividend is only on the preferred and there's only 617k of them out .... it's not that optional on preferred .... i forget whether the dividend on them is accumulative, but i think it is ..... one of the sedar pdf docs explains it thoroughly - sedar.com

In any case, we're only talking ~70k loonies here.
