Doug, Glad to see you're up to speed. I consistently get 48k connections. Every once in a while I get 46.6k but for the most part its 48k. I can't understand on the negative articles in the press downplaying the improvement in speed. As you have found out for yourself the difference is remarkable. Now, if only more of the ISP's would flip the swtich. I've been bugging the crap out of Netcom to get with the program. They keep telling me they are in test and to keep checking their site for more news. I have already informed them that I will be going with whichever ISP can provide local x2 access first. Welcome once again to the fast lane, FF
