And do you include atheists in the list of those whom you believe many to be quietly living transformative lives?

Of course you do try to influence others morally; we all do. Almost everyone in my Amnesty International group has, throughout the years, been atheist or agnostic.

I even try to change people's beliefs, for example, about the morality of a death penalty skewed against the poor, the black, those whose alleged victim is white, the uneducated, the male; one which permits execution of the insane, of children under 18, of the mentally retarded....
