Judy, what operating system do you use?? when I finally, went to Win 95, a lot of my system freeze problems dissapeared.. (I also bumped up my memory to 64 megs.. although 48 would be just about perfect for what I do...) re:... in earlier post... this is how PC Quote calculates MF.. but apparently Bloomberg machines calculate differently.. The Money Flow study combines price and volume information. RealTick only calculates Money Flow for tick charts. The value of the Money Flow study can be very high, so there is a default multiplier of 1/1000 in the Overlay dialog box. Formula: If the last tick is an up tick (i.e., if P(n) > P(n-1) ), then F(n) = F(n-1) + ( P(n) * V(n) ) If the last tick is a down tick (i.e., if P(n) < P(n-1) ), then F(n) = F(n-1) - ( P(n) * V(n) ) If the last tick is no change, then F(n) = F(n-1) Where: F = Money Flow P = Price V = Volume
