Taken from the PR firms website: mPhase has stated that they are the first affordable alternative to coaxial and fiber delivery for regional bell operating companies and local telephone exchange carriers. The mPhase xDSL transceiver is the only technology able to transport voice, digital video programming, and data over existing telephone lines without impacting traffic and without degrading voice quality. mPhase has also stated that they will engage in development of additional applications which may include video teleconferencing, distance learning, tele-medicine, baby monitoring, e-commerce and house alarms.
