The load aspect in x axis refers to what is loaded for a chart that is what system test will read. Templates can be applied by just right clicking on a price chart bare space. You save as a template by using file/save as on main menu. What are you trying to do? start test from a date? Remember all indicators require a building time. you put a 21 day MA or indicator on it, it needs 21 days or a month to get up to speed, a 200 day nearly 10 months. You can not recreate reality in a system test. The best way to do it, load all the data you can get, min of 5 years. and see how it performed over all the history and cycles of the stock.
