Robert, you keep saying that NATO "won" the war.
True, NATO did push the Serbian armed forces out of Kosovo with the bombing raids but what did the ethnic Albanians get out of it? In my opinion they are the real losers, not the Serbs. They are the ones who had their homes burned, their wives and daughters raped, their sons and husbands murdered and guess what Robert...... the men who did those dastardly deeds are GOING TO GET AWAY WITH IT. Yes Robert, the masked men who did the burning, looting, murdering and raping are on their way back home to Serbia and will soon be drinking beer and eating pretzels in their favorite bar laughing and telling war stories. Yes Robert, THEY ARE GOING TO GET AWAY WITH IT AND THERE IS NOTHING NATO CAN DO ABOUT IT. Your "brave" Nato is going to stop at the Kosovo/Serbia border. How does that make you feel......like a winner or a loser?
Now lets assume there had been 10,000 Americans living in Kosovo in one town and the Serbs attacked and burned it, raped half of the women and murdered 2,500 of the men. Do you think NATO would stop at the Kosovo/Serbia border? No my friend, they would fight all the way to Belgrade and round up every person that had anything to do with the rapes and murders of the Americans.
What this shows Robert is the fact that Americans are entitled to state sponsered revenge while ethnic Albanians are entitled to a tent and two slices of bread. |
