I also can't believe all the ISPs out there feeding crap to their customers and telling them not to upgrade to 56K, yet.

That is because they don't want to spend the money right now, and they know as long as there customers don't have 56K that it won't impact them.

But I am beginning to believe that we will soon (one or two months) see such a groundswell that those who don't offer the faster speeds will go under. (And Good Riddance, I say !)
