Michelle,

That was a good post, and I share the same sentiments. Amazon is the poster child of the anti-net stock crowd, probably since they, like MicroSoft, have a distinct leader. If we want to talk about conventional valuations, it is pretty tough to say amzn is out of this world compared to e-bay, aol, yhoo, or pcln. Having a distinct figure head gives bears someone to shoot at, and has led to the large amount of propaganda thrown at amzn.

On a negative note, I have migrated toward Sarmad's position with
regard to when Amzn will make a big move. I am still fully invested, but it sure looks like the nets aren't not going to make a big, pre-earnings move this quarter. When I say big, I mean 100%. A 50% pop is doable, and will be great. The analysts are creating a lot of headwind now, projecting big moves in the 4th quarter, but no great shakes for the summer. Blodget was on cnn last night, again.
