Ken I've been looking at Stocks that went down after IPO that have a low stock price to see what happens to them...Do they find a bottom and move up before QP ends? Is there a possible play to be made on them? Not talking long term here. We know that there should be support from the Co. either during QP or shortly after. Analyst ranking are prohibited until QP ends. So that is when we can expect a buy recommendation if there is going to be one.. After all this is a big move for these Cos and they should be prepared. They will be looking for investors. They want that stock price to rise. We need to find out which stocks have the best possibilities.. and which is the right time frame. Good idea to also check which ones have news before QP ends and how it affects the stock and also check vol on those days. The old saying applies here.. Buy on rumor and sell on news..This the way I'm thinking.... From a short term trader's view. Most gains in the shortest amount of time. That's why I think the week before QP ends offers the best trading possibilities..As far as holding long term, that up to each of us. Will these stocks hold up after the news is finished? I don't know. Market looks crappy now with a rally here and there. A lot of stocks are coming down and sooner or later buying will come back into the market but right now this looks like a bright spot in the market...Anyway, there are a couple this week to watch and see what happens. I will be researching more of them... Banchee
