couple of points, Mr. Buffet has done very well in the past, however, when you invest in any fund, there is always a nice disclaimer that I would like to remind you of "Past performance is no guarantee for future performance...."

you have Mr. Buffet who prefers not to invest in internet, and you have people like M. Dell, B. Gates, S. Case, B. Diller, D. Wetherel and many more investing in it and successfully I might add...

the basic question in my opinion is, will the internet be deemed a passing fad and disappear from the face of the earth, or will it grow ever more... and you can't really compare it to oil drillers and biotech craze... both had serious limitations...the first, limited by the availability of oil underneath, and the second by how far the biotech was at the time and how fast it grew... the internet is differnt... it has no limiting factors, on the contrary, it relies on the fastest growing technology...

the other question is, what are the prospects for CMGI short term and long term....

in a worst case scenario, all the internet sector crashes and drops 75% off of current levels... and something like CMGI becomes about $25.. and the question becomes, how long would this last... and would it ever bounce back...

and this question is very much related to what will become of the internet...

from all of the above, I do believe that CMGI should do very well long term...

best of luck to all
