Just passing along some other post from another person in Greece:

After the peace agreement both Serbia and NATO spoke of victory!
The real losers ofcourse are all the victims, the people of Serbia,
the refugees, EU, the neighbouring countries and the environment!
But why do they both speak of victory???
Back in Rambuillet the Serbs signed the agreement at first but
then NATO added that Kosovo would vote for indepedence in 3 years
which meant "bye bye Kosovo" for the Serbs and also that NATO
soldiers had the ability to move wherever they wanted in Serbia.
After 77 days of bombing and 22000 bombs and missiles they've come
to ana greement that is supposed to secure Serb borders so Kosovo
will remain a Serb province and ofcourse soldiers would stay only
in Kosovo and nowhere in the rest of Serbia.
So the Serbs managed the withdraw of the 2 terms in Rambuillet that
were the reason the bombing started! What did NATO manage to do except
destroying almost everything??? To get its soldiers in Kosovo alive
will be my best guess!!! As I was watching BBC WORLD there was this
rather stupid british general who spoke of the first war won by air-force.
I'm still wondering what is the victory...
NATO only succeded in enforcing something the Serbs had already signed!
So as far as I'm concerned the Serbs are the winners and showed to the
rest of the world how people should behave, that people have pride and
are willing to loose everything in order to protect their country...
