What kind of PC will be availble for free? what kind of support? And,,, someone has to build those free PCs for Microsoft. MSFT won't actually get them for free... I know dell was going to step up the cheap pc market...so.. maybe this is a little threat. But if someone gets started and addicted to using a PC and so on.. then wants an upgrade.. and needs better equipment,,,, needs a Dell. MSFT gets them hooked and then they need better stuff.. (?) Since rate of growth (vs. absolute growth) is such a critical factor, perhaps dell's emergence in slightly different markets will provide the spice to the business and to the stock. Storage and overseas direct are two growth areas for Dell.... to offset domestic PC profit margin declines (???)
