Saw Canned Heat play the Fillmore East in 1970, the week that their Harmonica/lead singer,"The blind Owl"(name escapes me)died of a heroin overdose.They had an enormous photograph of him on the back wall and only an array of candles all over the stage for light .It was very weird.
