*OT* No real suggestions. I have a Pioneer but you really need to shop and compare as they add new features constantly and get better with each generation. There were some better players when I purchased mine but the controls were more complicated. Make sure you get the sound decoder or "DA" option though. Depending on what your sound set up is right now, DVD has an ability that maybe you don't require right now but might want later, to re-create theatre environments. The coding on the disk will separate the channels into seven different areas. Left front, left rear, front center, right rear, and right front. This makes it possible to turn up the dialog without increasing the background noises since speach mainly comes from the center front channel and makes the movie scenes seem more realistic since a car or footsteps moving from left to right will sound as if it is moving from left to right etc. To have this affect, one of two of your components will have to be "DA" equiped and the other will have to be "DA" ready. If you get your player equiped, then you can get by with a cheaper receiver for your stereo that is just DA ready.

I just finished watching 2001 and the Blue Danube is much more enjoyable when it is clear as the CD.

As for the market, Just finished updating my charts and I see AOL possibly making it to 85, AMZN to possibly 90 among other targets. Depending on how hard we sell off early inthe week, I don't see the bottom as early as Carpino does. Of course if we have a Monday flush, then yes we could do it.

Good Luck,

Lee
