It always baffles me why people refer to trades as being "buys" or "sells". By definition, ALL trades are BOTH buys AND sells. Someone is buying, and someone else is selling.

The fact that a trade might have been on an uptick or downtick from the previous one tells us something about whether the buyer or seller was more anxious to get the trade done, but the level of anxiety tells us nothing about whether the more anxious side is right.
