All of this argument gets me to thinking. Rambus, Micron...Etc...
I'm thinking of investing in both. What is the killer app? Telecom?
Intel looks volatile now which is good for a change. I just sold a bunch of intel on Friday at the high because some moron says he wants to short 55. To me intel is the great wrap around play in the semis and so is liable to be even more volitile in the near future where I hope to buy back. What I mean is the uncertainty of the current technology regarding telecom is being dogged by the real world uncertainty of PC sales. Intel vis a vis the Dialogic purchase is looking forward. But what about the Stock price which is looking backwards? If the price should close below 50 we'll see a rush to cover shorts and buy. If the price rises we'll see a rush to short and sell. I think the bulls should keep their powder dry as the move from PC centric investment moves to telecom investment. The PE is reasonable but a few points of PE can make the difference between success and failure.
