Dale,

Good points one and all.
My problem is catching a falling knife syndrome.
I never had a core position in any of these stocks, because I play with small share amounts to begin with. When I sell, I sell all. I never hold during splits or earnings because that is when the most damage is done from my past experiences. I suspect you piled up shares during splits, and have a low cost basis as a result. I like your way better in hind-site, but with the possibility that AOL, CMGI, YHOO or any of these could still decline up to 50% from here, or even that as great a company as CMGI is it may never regain it's former highs due to the lack of "greater fools", I have to be convinced.
At some point, if the bears on the sector are correct, you will have to retreat. If I remember correctly, you and I sold one time and your cost on the newest shares was about $62.50.
Don't let me scare you, I am but a student of the game.

Steve
