I sent this message to you Glenn because I think you and I and some others have felt that
there was no method behind this madness at Amazon. That they just wanted to get their
hands on all this money and spend away, since we didn't know what all these warehouses
were for etc. Well once you put all these ventures together there seems to be a very
agressive plan here which is working so far.

Michelle,

Thank you for your thoughts and I agree with many of them. I recently did a 180 with AMZN. I do wish I knew what these large centers were for. It would help me feel more comfotable with my position.

AMZN does spend more for their sites but they do it better. I believe BKS closed the gap a bit in boks based on the site but not on sales. Books are not the issue for AMZN now anyhow. BKS likely will stick with books, music, software and video.

One item I remain disappointed with in regards to Amazon is the awful advertising. Get a
new agency and promotion before Christmas.

I can't see anyone disagreeing with this. My wife and I discussed it and thought their adds were the worst. They have been so agressive in spending on them too. A quick change would help.

May I have your opinion on AOL since I am worrying??:-)
