Aw, gee, Joan, I did read your post, and I must say I was CRUSHED by it. My feelings are very sensitive, and often get me into trouble.
I do think a redeeming quality of Feelings!!! is that, as was just pointed out, most of the people who post there are much more expressive of ideas than feelings, anyway. I do believe that a few of them might be tempted to bomb a laboratory if there were no such outlet, however.
I disagree with you, however, about the exclamation points!!! I believe that if they were not there, the place would have been all seriously soppy and weepy, and would not have been successful at all. A confession, though--there would have been a lot more exclamation points except that they were cut off by lack of space when I posted the title. I tend to be quite excessive, really. |
