CompUSA (CPU - 8) – Hoping For Single Digits

In yesterday's trading, the June 10 call on this computer retailer was
surprisingly active. Over 2,000 contracts crossed the tape, with virtually all of the activity translating into new open interest. The activity is unusual in that it comes on an option that is 25-percent out of the money with less than eight days until expiration. Most of the activity came from five block trades ranging in size from 250 to 740 contracts. These blocks all changed hands at 1/8 and were likely initiated as call writes by a trader betting that CPU will remain below 10 at June expiration.
