OTOT KyrosL, SiGe optimizes high frequency performance and results in lower power and cost compared to the more expensive Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) has been talked about for some years as a technology that would reap big rewards for its purveyors. In addition to IBM, ATML and several others are said to have some expertise. Re. the quoted language from your post on optimization of high frequency, does this go to issue of speed of transmission with less distortion/interference? What are the key attributes that make SiGe superior in this regard? Thanks for your thoughts.

Regards. Steven
