All these DRAM guys are losing money.

If RDRAM demand and prices stay up they do very well as margins obviously exist and money is made.

However if demand is low and prices high (most likely) scenario I just don't see why they would keep investing in $6M testers etc.

If they make no more money with RDRAM than SDRAM then they simply won't make the investments required to keep ramping up RDRAM support.
