Off topic post

Hey Doc-- Apparently her real doc took plain films already. If any advanced imaging or neurodiagnostics were necessary I am sure the good doctor would have ordered them.

With the multiple documented causes of low back pain and possible sciatic nerve involvement (if that is what this turns out to be) your knee-jerk response appears a bit short sighted. I do agree with you though that a good Radiologist would probably refer her back to a good Chiropractor (absent any motor loss, really severe disc herniations causing ischemia to neural tissue, etc.). As you probably know multiple studies are now available that show the benefits of Chiropractic care in cases like these. These are peer reviewed indexed studies and the funny thing is that many of them have been done in a collaborative effort with M.D.'s.

I really think all patient care should be done with the patient's best interest in mind. Usually this occurs best with collaboration across multiple health care disciplines.

Anyway since this is the Dell thread I will now get back to our regularly scheduled program.
