Hi Bruce, Really wished I had been home to answer your astute observations regarding big money buying into our favorite stock. I was up in Wisconsin observing the harvesting of 120 acres of pulp wood.

Are you ready for a belated " I think the stock is going to rise ". On the serious side earnings will be announced June 29 after the close. I think it's apparent the whisper loss of .34 will be trimmed and I hope a nice mgt confirmation that the worst is over' coupled with a nice bump in backlog and high quote actvity. As this confirmation has occurred in other tech stocks ,the 18-22 range should evolve, with 30 down the road after positive earnings surprises and continued backlog growth.

As management indicated ADE will be 6 months down the food chain as their customers are silcon foundries not fabs. Most companies bottomed 3rd Qtr in 98 so 2nd qtr 99 would fit mgt's, "I Told You So".

All in All, VERY Positive!!! IMHO

Thanks again for your excellent market watching - wish I had been there to confirm your observations, but no computer and no ISP kept me on the 1/800 # with my broker.

Still - it sure was some sleeper price action for a down 360 dow week!

Look for stocks that go reverse to the overall downtrends - they will be tommorrow's market leaders.

We have such a beast in our portfolio - long time comin hehehe

Bob
