Real Software Scam Artists 13205 of 13207
by: Valter_Krankeidt

Gaetanvan where are your brains. I almost cracked a rib when I read your message. In 1987 I met Rudy Haggemon President of this Belgian company called Real Software. As it turned out Rudy was also running a company called Disoft [a DEC scam] and a Supply Chain Software group which was in effect a DuPont scam. Real Software became the agent for Chesapeake Decision Sciences [CDS]
in Benelux. At the time they had 3 or 4 technical people and that was all. Hardly what you would call a stellar group.

Now they buy Tava complete with Larry Hagwood [x Bailey preacher type what does he know about the software business] and the likes of Roger Kammerer [also x Bailey 'modal control' genius] who went lock step with the likes of Greg York Vancouver BC [one man company for 20 years, few if any successful deployments, nice pictures OPC technology sucks] known in our circles as the 'Potlatch' wonder [Check his credentials. Potlatch, Lewiston ID].

Roger now thinks he can spool up a paper machine services group complete with a component based papermakers workstation and compete successfully with the likes of ABB, Honeywell/Measurex, Valmet etc. Mr. Kammerer's allegiance to Aspen [a Ponzi scheme of near worst order] is legendary and demonstrates very little insight as to how to select and promote the best available applications and toolsets from the most stable and reliable companies.

It is strange that you are Belgian and I am from Holland and we have such a difference of opinion on these folks. Please explain why you feel that Real Software 'is a very good investment' especially now that they are the apparent owners of the Tava Y2K
bloomers? It takes a lot of talent to be in the industrial automation business and I personally believe that Real Software and Tava together will be nothing more than an average bunch of politicians and run-of-the-mill engineers. The Y2K focus will be gone soon [if not already] and these guys are dreaming if they think they can compete with the larger, more enlightened and more ethical, technology driven companies, with big R&D budgets.

Gaetanvan, may I suggest that you allocate some time to verify what I have told you here. The examples of poor decision-making and inept abilities that I have cited can be checked simply by contacting the people involved and asking the right questions of those who were involved with the projects.

Good luck to you,

Valter
