How well everything worked? The quality was much better then than now. As how home size comparison....Seems rather a specious argument to me....Try comaring a 1,000' home then to one now. I know many people thaty would love to be able to buy a 1,000' home today but can't....Not enough money even with 2-3 jobs. Here's a comparison for you: A 1962 toaster has a good chance of still being functional today. I go through a "new" toaster every 2 years now because they are junk.
