And yes I have heard privately (but not at the pool ;) ) that there have been 800Mhz capapble parts come of the line. That's really astonishing! It sounds like Intel at 0.18u can't match K7 at 0.25u. If this is really true and holds up and chip sets and Motherboards, etc can also be delivered then it puts the whole Intel-AMD relationship in a different light. If AMD can deliver product that clearly out performs anything that Intel can deliver then Intel can't smother AMD by lowering prices. AMD can deliver their production limit at the sweet price part of the market and Intel can't stop them.

But I wouldn't yet count this as in the bag since there are still many things that could go wrong.
