I was not implying that Republicans were punished more harshly that Democrats in the S&L scandal. I have no idea which political affiliation Charles Keating has. My point was that people have gone to jail for shady dealings with S&Ls. Hillary got off scot-free. And when anyone mentions her dealings with Madison Guaranty S&L and Whitewater, the press treats that person as if he/she was speaking in tongues...as if Hillary can do no wrong.

Furthermore, it is my understanding that George W. Bush had no involvement in any S&L misgivings. The S&L hub-bub you hear re: the Bush family is always directed at Jeb Bush, who is governor of Florida. I'm sure the Demo Media Machine would've made shreds of him had he done anything even close to being illegal when he ran for Governor of Florida.

NOW, if you want to implicate George W. Bush for something his brother did, then what does that make Bill Clinton? George W.'s brother sat on the board of an S&L that went under; Bill Clinton's brother (and the brother-in-law of NY's next U.S. Senator) is a convicted cocaine dealer. You might want to check your dictionary for "convicted felon," but the last time I checked, Clinton's brother is one. Yet another thing that Alina Cho will NEVER mention when she is gushing over Hillary's run for Senate.
