I have made points that I believe are in the interest of achieving better justice. If "it seems obvious", to you, that I am wrong, is your best argument, I suggest you re-think a little as you are sounding a little like some of those Clinton supporters whom you may have chastised for their failure to offer on point argument.
As a teenager I enjoyed watching William F. Buckleys Firing Line program as often as possible. Occasionally he'd bring on an advocate of drug legalization- and to me, for all his normal logic and wit, his head was in the sand on this issue(SO surprising coming from him- I couldn't believe a man who understood freedom that well could take that stand!) as he utterly failed to address arguments made while simply repeating his opinion. You can't imagine how surprised and overjoyed I was to learn he'd switched sides. In the program(a forum-at least 10-15 years later) in which I first learned of his switch, he was asked about his long history of supporting drug laws, and how it was that he now come to advocate legalization. His reply? "Well, I realized I was wrong." VBG.
Neocon, I know you to normally be a logical and knowledgeable thinker not unlike Buckley...I'm betting you'll one day switch too...the Republicans have not done Freedom enough favors in a long time- and aside from folks like Buckley, they understand it's value less and less as time marches on IMHO.
In the meantime, I'll agree to disagree. But I will answer your latest post concerning legalization soon- with on point argument, I hope.
