I could not disagree more. The free market is not always perfect, as in the case of child labor, the environment etc. In cases where taking certain actions runs counter to making money, legislation is necessary. Would big business ever attempt to make cleaner cars without legislation? No. Is it beneficial to all that they do? Absolutely.

It is all too easy to sit behind a CRT and claim the free market will take care of all, when in fact the people in question are without a voice.
