Robert, Please don't take this as criticism, because it isn't. Obviously, you look up only those items that interest you, and you shut out the random information that may have been able to sneak in if you got the whole printed paper and browsed it.

What I think will happen is that people will be able to "live in their own world", even while functioning in the wider world. It is like the person who takes a walk with their walkman head phones firmly on the ears. They get the exercise, but hear nothing of the sounds of the neighborhood. Of course the next step is to use the exercise bike surrounded by four walls, and eliminate any sights too.
