I went to get the latest Sharon McCrumb in paperback and saw a new one by Hillerman, one by JJ Jance, and another by someone else I like. It was tough. But I'd gone in set on the McCrumb so I got it. Then I met my friend to do some work before writing workshop. He asks, "Whatcha got". I hand it to him to look at. Next thing I know it's in his briefcase. I reckon I'll get to read it someday. <g> Slick son-of-a-gun.
