Mike -- <Whether a sell off is overdone or not is subject to interpretation> Do you think this is really T.D. or somebody paid to look after his media image? I agree with your assessment. This idea of 'pricing' in a tightening really bugs me. It is very risky business to ignore a fundamental shift in monetary policy. Where others see 'bearishness' I see incredible complacency. A 20% drop from here in the major markets could easily take the nets down 50% from where we are today. I would call that a serious risk. BTW, I have never advised anybody to short these stocks at any price --although 220 had my juices flowing.
