I think there are significant open issues about how good IIXC's infrastructure really is. LVLT also brings better management, better local fiber loops, and is building out in Europe.

If my thesis is correct that Winnick will only consider acquisitions where he doesn't have to dilute his control of the combined entity, then he might settle for IIXC. The others (LVLT, WMB/WCG, NXLK) all have strong players or majority shareholders at the helm who won't role over and concede control to GBLX.
